Our Park Rules & Guidelines For Guests and Owners
Welcome to Coldstream Holiday Park! To ensure that everyone enjoys a safe, peaceful, and relaxing stay with us, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a wonderful environment for all our guests.
Arrival & Visitors
- Visitors: For security, all visitors must check in at reception upon arrival. We ask that you make your guests aware of this policy.
- Deliveries & Workmen: If you are expecting a delivery or a contractor, please notify reception in advance. All drivers are required to report to reception before entering the park.
Vehicles & Safety
- Speed Limit: For the safety of all our guests, especially children, please strictly observe the 10mph speed limit throughout the park.
- Parking: Please use the designated parking areas. To keep our park looking its best, we ask that you avoid driving on the grass wherever possible.
- EV Charging: Electric vehicles may only be charged at the designated EV charging points. For safety reasons, charging from any other power outlet (such as your pitch or accommodation) is strictly prohibited.
- Fire Safety: Fire hoses are for emergency use only. Please familiarise yourself with the location of the nearest fire extinguisher. No firearms, air weapons, or fireworks are permitted on the park.
Your Pitch & Accommodation
- BBQs: You are welcome to use a BBQ. For safety:
- It must be raised off the ground on legs.
- It must not be placed on any decking.
- Disposable BBQs are not permitted.
- Please ensure ashes are disposed of safely once completely cooled.
- Refuse: Please place all general rubbish inside the bins provided around the park and close the lids securely. If a bin is full, please report it to reception. Do not leave bulky items in the bin areas; contact the park manager to arrange for their disposal.
- Drains & Toilets: To protect our drainage system, please do not flush wet wipes, nappies, sanitary products, or any other fibrous materials down the toilets.
- Clothes Lines: Please use window-sill or caravan-mounted drying racks rather than standalone rotary lines.
- Hosepipes: The use of private hosepipes is not permitted.
Consideration for Others
- Noise: Please be considerate of your neighbours. Keep noise from TVs, radios, and voices to a minimum, especially after 10:30 PM.
- Games: Ball games and kite flying should be enjoyed in the designated play areas to avoid disturbing other guests.
- Children: Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, particularly in the play park and near the river.
Our Pet Policy
- Leads: All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times while on the park.
- Cleaning Up: Please clean up after your pet immediately. Designated bins are provided.
- Exercise: We ask that you exercise your dogs in the designated areas or off the park.
- Unattended Pets: For their own welfare, please do not leave pets unattended in any holiday accommodation at any time.
For Our Holiday Home Owners
- Pitch Maintenance: While our team cuts the main grass areas, the gravel area around and under your caravan must be kept weed-free. Nothing should be stored under your caravan or veranda unless it is properly boxed in.
- Alterations: Owners must not carry out any alterations to their pitch, including the pruning or lopping of any trees or shrubs, without prior consent.
- Approved Contractors: Only approved companies with the necessary public liability insurance are permitted to carry out work on the park.
