BH&HPA is now Harpa

Big News from the Park: A New Chapter for our Industry!

We’ve got some interesting news to share from the wider world of holiday parks. If you follow the “behind the scenes” of the industry, you might have noticed some fresh branding popping up around Coldstream Holiday Park.

Our leading industry body, formerly known as the BH&HPA (British Holiday & Home Parks Association), has officially rebranded to a much catchier name: Harpa.

What is Harpa?

For decades, the BH&HPA has been the voice of holiday parks across the UK, ensuring that parks like ours are well-represented, sustainable, and constantly improving.

The new name, Harpa (standing for Holiday and Residential Parks Association), reflects a more modern, forward-thinking approach to the great British getaway. While the name is shorter, their mission remains the same: helping us provide the best possible experience for our holidaymakers and holiday home owners.

Why the change?

The world of holidaying is changing! Harpa wants to make sure our industry stays vibrant and visible. This fresh identity helps them:

  • Advocate more effectively for the UK tourism sector.

  • Support parks in becoming more eco-friendly and sustainable.

  • Promote the unique joy of park life to a whole new generation of explorers.

What does this mean for you?

In short: Business as usual, but with a brighter future! You might see the new Harpa logo appearing on our reception doors or in our newsletters. For you, it’s a seal of quality. It means Coldstream Holiday Park remains part of a professional network dedicated to high standards, safety, and making sure your time in the beautiful Scottish Borders is nothing short of perfect.

Next time you’re in the office, feel free to ask us about it—we’re proud to be members of an association that’s always looking ahead!
