Previous Caravan Sales Management experience essential.

To identify a systematic strategy, agree and achieve sales targets on a new landmark Holiday Park.

Source and conduct sales in line with the company’s set arrangements.
Build relationships with new and existing customers.
Liaise with the Manager throughout the sale to ensure successful timely completions.
Ensure handovers are carried out in line with current legislation and company procedures.
Conduct set customer appointments and with walk on customers, advising head office sales team accordingly.
Update the sales database of all feedback from customers in a timely manner.
Negotiate Buy backs from departing customers in line with company procedure.
Careful attention to detail to ensure homes are ready for sale and in line with budget expectations.
Prepare adverts for all stock units.
Ensure all promotional marketing material matches all campaign requirements.
Seek advertising opportunities to promote the park to the recognised customer demographic.
Support the business, as required, at local/national trade shows*
Work with the PR/Marketing department to promote the business at all levels.

Ensure that site communal areas are maintained to a satisfactory standard for achieving sales, reporting any maintenance problems. On a weekly basis.

Ensure the park is ready to receive delivery of new homes including advising off park residents of the possible disruption

An excellent communicator with determination and integrity that can work closely with our customers and other members of the team.

Robert Burns & Burns Night

Robert Burns is regarded as the national poet of Scotland and his work is celebrated across the world. He travelled much of Scotland during his life, his visit to our town Coldstream in May 1787 is marked with a plaque on Coldstream Bridge to honour this. Most people will know Robert Burns through the celebration of Burns night, the night of his Birthday the 25th of January which is celebrated with the traditional dish of haggis, neeps and tatties and of course a wee dram of whisky. Burns wrote “Address to a Haggis” as he was fond of the classic Scots dish and it is now tradition that on burns night the haggis be served on a silver platter with a reading of the poem.

Robert Burns and his visit to Coldstream

Born in the village of Alloway in South Ayrshire on the 25th of January 1759, Robert or “Rabbie” was the son of William Burns and Agnes Broun. Roberts early years were spent working with his father and brother on farms in Ayrshire. At the age of 15 he had written his first attempt at poetry “Handsome Nell”, the poem was written for Nelly Kirkpatrick whom he had worked with during the harvest of 1774. Burns was a romantic and a great number of his poems were written about the women in his life but he also wrote and collected folk music from across Scotland. In the 1780’s Burns had planned to emigrate to Jamaica but with the little money he had made farming he could not afford the fare. He was encouraged to sell his poetry to raise the funds for his voyage and in 1786 his first works were published in the Kilmarnock Volume. Robert did not travel to Jamaica as planned because of the birth of twins to Jean Armour. He went onto publish more volumes and quickly became a cultural icon writing in a light Scots dialect of English, allowing his work to reach far beyond the borders of Scotland.

Robert Burns visited Coldstream May 7th 1787 where there is a plaque on Coldstream Bridge in honour of this. During his visit Robert crossed Coldstream bridge where the river Tweed forms a natural border with England. Upon stepping onto English soil Robert knelt to pray and blessed his native land with these words:

“O Scotia! My dear, my native soil! For whom my warmest wish to heaven is sent! Long may thy hardy sons of rustic toil be blest with health, and peace, and sweet content!”

Sadly Robert Burns passed away at the young age of 37 due to heart problems, but to this day he still remains one of Scotland’s Treasures and he is celebrated every year on January 25th “Burns Night”.

Choose how many nights you would like to stay for and from which date
Also add how many guests will be joining you and any pets
If you are a tourer you will have the option of whether you require electric hook-up. Please select if you need this option
Continue on to book and fill in your details and deposit payment that is required
Email confirmation will be sent to you with your booking information and when the remaining payment will be needed by
Then sit back and wait for your holiday date to arrive and we will look forward to seeing you.

Customers can be assured that we have pet free Caravans and Pods if there is any allergy problems.

Pets are also welcome to our Touring and Camping pitches.

So all you have to do is add your pet to your holiday booking and then pack their suitcase along with yours and enjoy your stay with us.

Cutting the Turf

We are delighted to let you know that work on our exciting new Coldstream Holiday Park is well underway.

Our contractors are on site, working hard to get the Park ready to welcome our first guests in October of this year. This first phase will see 25 static pitches, 14 touring pitches and 20 camping pitches and glamping pods being introduced in this £2 million major tourism development.

In the meantime, our team are also working hard behind the scenes speaking to potential owners and taking bookings from guests who are eager to snap up their very own caravan holiday home and stay in this lovely Border town.

We are delighted that the development has now started and can not thank the local community, businesses and the Community Council and Councillors John Greenwell and Donald Moffat enough for the ongoing support. There is a 14 week build plan, with a ‘Show Caravan’ at Hirsel Golf Club over the build period.
