This year, Easter arrived early, with Good Friday falling on the 29th of March and Easter Monday on the 1st of April. Imagine our delight when we were greeted by three glorious days of sunshine! Friday brimmed with energy and anticipation as visitors from across the UK descended upon us to settle in for the extended weekend. With 38 touring and camping pitches, 11 glamping pods complete with hot tubs, and over 40 self-catering holiday homes featuring the luxury of hot tubs, there truly is something here to cater to every taste – whether it be adventurous escapades, romantic retreats, or family vacations.
As the sun dipped toward the horizon, laughter filled the air as families eagerly took their first plunge into their private hot tubs, barbecues sizzled on the camping field, and everyone settled in for a weekend of exploration and relaxation. Our guests ventured out from the park to explore the picturesque riverside walks along the banks of the River Tweed, uncovering the wonders of the Hirsel estate, and, of course, delving into the heart of Coldstream itself. Situated right on the Scottish Border, Coldstream serves as an ideal launchpad for discovering the treasures of both the Scottish Borders and Northumberland – from iconic towns to rolling countryside and miles of breathtaking coasts and beaches. Saturday morning saw our reception buzzing with activity as guests eagerly gathered information on local events, activities, and attractions.
