18 hole Parkland Course 5 minutes from Coldstream Holiday Park – A hidden gem. Tucked away on the edge of the idyllic Hirsel Estate, The Hirsel Golf Club is open for members and visiting golfers to enjoy. Founded in 1948, this magnificent 18 hole course is one of the finest examples of traditional parkland golf in Scotland and extends a warm welcome to visitors from far and near. The Hirsel’s Professional Shop has a wide selection of equipment, clothing and accessories, as well as some excellent offers on golf lessons and coaching deals. There are also some superb Visitor Golf Packages available.

In addition to the Hirsel, there are 6 other Golf Courses within a 30 minute drive from Coldstream Holiday Park.

4. Fishing

With no better a fishing experience in Scotland, no river in Europe more productive than the Eastern Borders. With the advice of knowledgeable ghillies, ‘ tight lines ‘ are likely. The Tweed is one of the greatest Atlantic salmon rivers, with opportunities to fish on some of the legendary beats and pools around Coldstream via the Tweedbeats and Fishtweed websites (for salmon) and the Coldstream & District Angling Association (for trout). The Park overlooks the river from its superb elevated position, and will therefore appeal to the lifestyle of the avid fisher.
